The Carolina Cup returns for its 44th year of racing in Greensboro, North Carolina. The 1.6 mile loop is a fast, fun course with some climbing and fast descents.
The Carolina Cup races in the shade of Country Park again for the 44th year. It's “The Longest Running Bicycle Race in the South" and will draw some of the nation’s fastest professional riders competing for shares of the almost $4,000 prize money purse.
There are 10 different categories that will bring riders ranging from seasoned pros to beginners wanting to get a taste of the fast-paced action.
The race is also popular with spectators since the transition from start to finish doesn't take long so your favorite racers will be in view pretty quickly on each lap.
